Screen printing is our core service and the go-to choice for bold graphics on larger runs of shirts and sweatshirts. Colors come out bright and durable, and it’s a budget-friendly way to outfit a whole school, team, business or event crew in Sun Prairie, Madison and across Wisconsin. Ameriprint has been in business since 1985.
Screen printing pushes ink through a fine mesh screen onto the garment. A separate screen is made for each color in your design, and the colors are printed one at a time, then cured with heat so the ink bonds to the fabric.
Because each color gets its own screen, screen printing shines with solid spot colors and repeat orders of the same design. Prints are vibrant and hold up well wash after wash, and it performs best on cotton garments.

What is the minimum order for screen printing?
Contact us for minimums and turnaround for your project. Share your quantities and deadline and we’ll give you a clear quote.
What file format should I send?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) work best. If you have brand colors, include the Pantone (PMS) numbers. If you only have a low-resolution logo, our graphics team can help clean it up.
Should I choose screen printing or DTF?
Screen printing is usually the better fit for larger orders with solid spot colors. DTF and digital printing are better for full-color art, photos, gradients and small runs.
What garments work best for screen printing?
Screen printing performs best on cotton garments such as tees, long sleeves and sweatshirts. Ask us about your specific garment and we’ll recommend the best option.
Can you help with my design?
Yes. Send your own artwork or work with our graphics team to create or clean up a design. Our design ideas and templates pages are a good place to start.
Can I pick up my order, or do you ship?
You can pick up at our Sun Prairie shop Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. For customers outside the area, including Milwaukee, we’ll go over shipping or delivery options when we quote.
